Utica NY, November 2015 – CareGivers is pleased to announce that Bader Peters Reynolds, Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer for the company, was selected by the New York State Association of Health Care Providers, Inc. (HCP) to receive the prestigious Richard Z. Steinhaus award. This award was established to recognize an HCP member that has made outstanding contributions as a leader, an expert, and an advocate for the home care industry.   Bader Peters Reynolds was presented with the award at the 2015 HCP Annual Conference held in Albany, NY on October 21, 2015.

Reynolds is very active within HCP. She served as Chairperson of the Board of Directors from 2008-2012, Executive Vice Chair from 2004-2008, Past President of the Mohawk Valley HCP Chapter, and Vice Chair for Licensed Agencies 2003-2004.  Reynolds has participated in various subcommittees, including appointment to state committees, and was selected for the HCP Founders’ Spirit Award in 2006. She is also very involved in the nursing community.  She served as Auxiliary Board Member for the NYS Board for Nursing for the past ten years. She is a member of the Iota Delta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, Nurse Executives and Educators of the Mohawk Valley, and the American Nurses Association.  She has served on the Mohawk Valley Community College Nursing Advisory Board, and the Utica College Nursing Advisory Board.

Reynolds has 35+ years of experience in community nursing, home health care, and nursing education.  She joined CareGivers as RN Service Director in 1985, and her strong leadership skills and dedication to quality care led to her promotion to Administrator just a year later.  Reynolds has steadily progressed within the company, and this past October she was named Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Office. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from SUNY Binghamton, and her Master of Science Degree in Community Health and Education from Syracuse University.
