Job Opening: LPN Home Care Nursing Job – must be licensed LPN or RN
Branch: Tonawanda, NY (Buffalo)
Location: client in Buffalo NY (near Delaware Park)
Rates: Premium rate range of $35 – $40 / hour
Available Shifts: client needs care 24/7. Open shifts are every other Friday, Saturday & Sunday: overnights, 7pm to 7am.
Provide nursing care (private) for a quadriplegic client in Buffalo NY (near Delaware Park). Duties include personal care including feeding, bowel regimen, transfer with Hoyer, extensive turning & positioning, feeding tube care, and medication management. View job description »
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a LPN or RN currently licensed to practice in New York State, with at least six months experience as a LPN or RN and/or competent in knowledge and skills based on successful completion of the pre-employment nursing test and demonstration of skills.
- Must be competent in all skills required on assignment following case orientation and on the job training.
- Current certification in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- This position requires the completion of health examination and required tests/immunizations and the completion of annual health assessment thereafter to certify that the incumbent is free of communicable disease and physically capable of performing assigned duty.
