JOB OVERVIEW:
CareGivers is a licensed home care agency with 13 branches in Upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania. We have been providing quality, compassionate home care for over 55 years, and we are always looking for positive and skilled professionals to join our growing team.
We are currently looking for a Part Time Billing Specialist to join our corporate office team.
The ideal candidate for this position is organized and efficient, with strong communication skills, excellent time management abilities, and must be comfortable using a computer and communicating via email & Teams (we will provide training on the specific software we use for billing). Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Word is a plus.
Job Opening: Billing Specialist
Job Location: Tonawanda, NY
Status: Part Time – Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8am-4:30pm
Rate: $20.00 – $23.00 / hour (depending on experience)
This job is required to be performed at our Tonawanda NY office, so all applicants must live within commuting distance.
We’re Looking For:
- Basic computer skills required
- Must be 18 or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Training/certification or previous experience in healthcare billing/coding is a plus
DUTIES:
Accurately processing weekly/monthly billing accounts on a timely basis, working with all of the company’s office locations to resolve billing problems, reviewing aging for past due accounts, investigating billing problems, communicating billing status/issues with supervisor, and handling special projects from time to time as assigned.
