Guaranteed 30 Hrs/Wk – Personal Care Aide (PCA) Job

JOB OVERVIEW:

CareGivers is looking for an outstanding, career-minded Personal Care Aide, HHA, or CNA to join our team.  In this position, you would be exclusively working Ontario County casework in a specified territory.  You would be guaranteed 30 hours a week, and have a set schedule of Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm.

 A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license are required for this position – this is not optional.  You will be visiting multiple clients – 2 to 3 hours per client – and you may need to run errands or do shopping for some clients.

Position:  Personal Care Aide – must be certified PCA, HHA, or CNA
Your Territory: Canandaigua NY, Stanley NY, Gorham NY, Hopewell NY, Rushville NY, Phelps NY, Clifton Springs NY, Manchester NY, Shortsville NY, Geneva NY (you could be assigned clients in any of these areas, but for scheduling purposes they would be arranged in a way that would minimize the amount of traveling you would do on a given day)
Shifts:  Guaranteed 30 hours/week – Set schedule of Monday through Friday, 9a to 4pm
Hourly Rate: $22.00 / hour

Mileage paid in between clients at $0.59/mile.  We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, dedicated, and compassionate – these are essential traits for this position.

• Must be a certified PCA, HHA, or CNA (expired HHA ok)
• Will transition CNA to HHA with a free one-day class
• Qualified nursing students can work for us as HHAs – ask us how!
• Must be caring, dependable, & must meet health requirements
• Will be subject to a background check as part of the hiring process
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license* required – you must be able to drive from client to client, this is not optional. (*clean – no major violations)
• Must be 18 or older
