Our Buffalo NY branch is currently looking for Personal Care Aides to work in Amherst, Tonawanda, NT, Williamsville, Kenmore, Clarence, Orchard Park, and more.    Not a certified PCA?  No problem – we’re now enrolling qualified applicants in our Free Personal Care Aide training class, details below!

PCA Training Class – Free
Dates: Class starts July 22nd –  we are limiting class size to 5 people to maintain social distancing, so get your info in now!

The class is a total of 56 hours and the remaining dates will be scheduled depending on the availability of instructors & class participants. Attendance is required on all scheduled days.

Location:  CareGivers Home Care, 2465 Sheridan Drive, Tonawanda, NY 14150

  • Reliable transportation is required
  • Proof of immunizations required
  • Recent/current physical required
  • Minimum of 2 references required
  • Tuition for the class is free, you will not be paid for attending the class
  • If you successfully complete the course, you will be a New York state certified Personal Care Aide

Attendance on each day of the training class is required.  Those who complete the class with a passing grade, meet all health requirements, and successfully complete the hiring process will receive an offer for employment.  NOTE:  A criminal background check is conducted as part of the hiring process.  EOE/AA Disability/Veteran


PERSONAL CARE AIDE JOB DUTIES:

Responsible for providing personal care, and supportive services which includes, but is not limited to assisting the client in activities of daily living, planning and preparing meals, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
