Our Buffalo NY branch is currently looking for Personal Care Aides to work in Amherst, Tonawanda, NT, Williamsville, Kenmore, Clarence, Orchard Park, West Seneca, and more.    Not a certified PCA?  No problem – we’re now enrolling qualified applicants in our Free Personal Care Aide training class, details below!

PCA Training Class – Free
Dates: Class will start August (dates to be determined), and run for 7 days (8am to 4:30pm, weekdays only).  Attendance on all scheduled days is required.  We are limiting class size to 4 people to maintain social distancing, so get your info in now! Only 3 spots left!

The class is a total of 56 hours. Attendance is required on all scheduled days.

Location:  CareGivers Home Care, 2465 Sheridan Drive, Tonawanda, NY 14150

  • Reliable transportation is required
  • Tuition for the class is free, you will not be paid for attending the class
  • If you successfully complete the course, you will be a New York state certified Personal Care Aide

Attendance on each day of the training class is required.  Those who complete the class with a passing grade, meet all health requirements, and successfully complete the hiring process will receive an offer for employment.  If you are hired, you will need to provide the follow information – the faster you provide this information, the faster we can get you to work:

  • Proof of immunizations required
  • Recent/current physical required
  • Minimum of 2 references required

NOTE:  A criminal background check is conducted as part of the hiring process.  EOE/AA Disability/Veteran

**COVID-19 Safety: Our clients depend on us to stay safe at home. We have made changes to our screening/application process to help keep applicants, our staff, and our clients safe. We are following CDC and Department of Health guidance, and provide staff with all needed PPE.


Your day might include:  providing a safe way for clients to feel clean and refreshed (personal care); learning some new recipes and preparing meals; tidying their home to keep them healthy and being sure they follow their medication schedule. Other care may be needed to keep them safe.
