Our Canandaigua branch is currently looking for Personal Care Aides to work in Canandaigua NY, Geneva NY, and surrounding areas.  Not a certified PCA?  No problem – we’re now enrolling qualified applicants in our Free Personal Care Aide training class, details below!

PCA Training Class – Free
Dates: Class starts August 3rd –  we are limiting class size to 4 people to maintain social distancing, so get your info in now!

The class is a total of 56 hours and will be scheduled in half days depending on the availability of class participants. Home care jobs offer great flexibility, so we want to ensure that our training classes can offer that flexibility as well!  Attendance is required on all scheduled days.
Location:  CareGivers Home Care, 5297 Parkside Drive, Bldg 300, Canandaigua, NY 14424

  • Reliable transportation is required
  • Proof of immunizations required
  • Recent/current physical required
  • Minimum of 2 references required
  • Tuition for the class is free, you will not be paid for attending the class
  • If you successfully complete the course, you will be a New York state certified Personal Care Aide

Attendance on each day of the training class is required.  Those who complete the class with a passing grade, meet all health requirements, and successfully complete the hiring process will receive an offer for employment.  NOTE:  A criminal background check is conducted as part of the hiring process.  EOE/AA Disability/Veteran


Responsible for providing personal care, and supportive services which includes, but is not limited to assisting the client in activities of daily living, planning and preparing meals, shopping/running errands for client, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.   Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license are required as most clients are not near bus routes.
