Our Management Team

The CareGivers ownership and management team is comprised of two executives with diverse and extensive experience in health care management:

Carmen Flitt
Owner and CEO/CFO

Carmen Flitt has an accounting degree from Canisius College, and was formerly a CPA with the Buffalo office of Price Waterhouse Coopers.  Mr. Flitt joined CareGivers in 1995, and has served as its Chief Financial Officer since 1996.  In October 2015, he was named the Chief Executive Officer of CareGivers. Mr. Flitt is responsible for all operations of the company’s certified and private duty home health care subsidiaries located in New York and Pennsylvania. He is a member of the New York State Association of Health Care Providers (HCP) and the Pennsylvania Homecare Association.

Bader Peters Reynolds, MS, RN
Executive Vice President/COO

Bader Reynolds has 35+ years of experience in community health nursing, home health care, and nursing education.  She joined CareGivers as RN Service Director in 1985, and has steadily progressed within the company.  In October 2015, Ms. Reynolds was named Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer.  She holds a seat on the company’s Governing Body, and actively participates in the planning and decision making for the company.  Ms. Reynolds guides the company’s clinical/health care operations, and oversees compliance within the company’s branch offices.

Ms. Reynolds is very active within the NYS Association of Health Care Providers (HCP), serving as Chairperson of the Board of Directors from 2008-2012.  In 2015, HCP selected her for the prestigious Richard Z. Steinhaus award, and she received the HCP Founders’ Spirit Award in 2006.   Ms. Reynolds is a member of the Iota Delta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, Nurse Executives and Educators of the Mohawk Valley, and the American Nurses Association.  She serves on the Mohawk Valley Community College Nursing Advisory Board, and the Utica College Nursing Advisory Board.   Ms. Reynolds received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from SUNY Binghamton, and her Master of Science Degree in Community Health and Education from Syracuse University.
